RM Valyrian comes from River Merle Farm, and it's named for its striking purple center, which looks like the eyes of the Valyrians in George R.R. Martin's series. Light petals surround a deep purple heart, and dark stems with amethyst accents add to its jewel-like look.

The blooms are densely packed on strong stems, so they stand out in both the garden and the vase.

RM Valyrian was introduced in 2025 (USA). Every RM Valyrian dahlia tuber we sell was grown, dug and divided by hand on our Northern California farm.

Dahlias love full sun, steady water once they are growing, and loose, well-drained soil. Plant after your last frost, pinch young plants for bushier growth, and cut often to keep the flowers coming through fall.

Each tuber is hand-selected and has at least one viable eye. Tubers ship in spring, timed to your USDA growing zone.
