Alyshia

Alyshia is a playful anemone (powder-puff) dahlia with raspberry-pink outer petals around a fluffy, creamy center. Blooms can look fuller and more decorative depending on your growing zone. Bred by Peter Komen in the Netherlands.

Alyshia was introduced in 2021 (Netherlands). Every Alyshia dahlia tuber we sell was grown, dug and divided by hand on our Northern California farm.

Anemone dahlias have one or more rows of outer petals around a dense pincushion of tubular center florets. Give it at least six hours of direct sun and well-drained soil, and wait to plant until the soil has warmed in spring. Taller plants appreciate a stake, and regular cutting keeps new buds coming until frost.
